Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo involved in silly lovers spat
Ghanaian actors Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo have continually refuted claims of being involved romantically, with both parties claiming to be only close friends with no strings attached.

However, the rift between the both off has somewhat proved otherwise. Actress-turned-activist Yvonne Nelson has been championing a campaign against erratic power supply in Ghana tagged #DumsorMustStop.

She threw the first jab at her friend and freely flinged insults. When asked why she didnt involve Dumelo in her struggle, she replied, “How can I invite John Dumelo when he wants to wait till hes 90 to see electricity? He loves to kiss ass.” John Dumelo who seems to be in a fix has however since explained his stand on the issue as he clamors for peace in the country. According to him, the Ghanaian President needs time to make things work.

In his own words, “To whom it may concern: my sentiments expressed on an Accra based FM station have totally been misread and misconstrued.

Before I start off, Im not a spokesperson for any political party neither am I a representative in the social circles. I said and I quote, ‘Lets give the president time to solve the problems, after all, if by 2016 these problems havent been solved we know what we will do’. You think I am happy running a company at a loss? I am not.

As at now I still do not have a generator in my house. I sweat at night and I am sure we all do. I have heard all kinds of insults and threats on my life because my statement was completely taken out of context.

As for the insults and death threats, it has made me a better person. Long live Ghana.” One can only hope the two will bury the proverbial hatchet.
