At a time many thought former president Goodluck Jonathan has come home
to rest and be warmly received by Bayelsans after eight years sojourn in
Abuja, his kinsman, Mr. Sidi Godwin, said the former President does not
deserve any rest, but investigation by the International Court of
Justice (ICJ).
Sidi, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress
(APC), told journalists on yesterday in Yenagoa that he and his group
are dusting their papers to drag Jonathan to the ICJ to account for the
missing Chibok girls, since he was the nation’s chief security officer
when the girls were abducted.
He also asked the National Assembly to
compel Jonathan to give account of the whereabouts of the Chibok girls,
adding that the former president conceded defeat to cover up political
and economic atrocities he committed in office.
Sidi, a former
South-South Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) asked
the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) to make Jonathan’s assets declaration
public.
He alleged that the former president glorified in corruption and allowed graft to cripple the country.
He gave Jonathan 72 hours to return Alamieseigha’s property in his possession or face a lawsuit.
